INITIAL CONSULTATION

After the “Discovery Call”, this is a critical step in our design process allowing our design team to meet you in your home, walk and talk about your spaces with you, learn about your design dreams and goals and take some time to educate you about our design process. So much good happens during this visit and this consultation is vital to a successful design project!
We begin our projects with a 2 hour consultation and project kickoff.
At the end of the conultation, Katie will review and discuss the best options for you with design services. If necessary we will send you a formal proposal approximately one week after our Consultation. We will provide a date and time to schedule a "Follow Up Call" with you to review and answer any questions you have so that we can identify next steps and set a project start date.
What you can expect from your 2 hour Initial Consultation:
Thoroughly discuss your project ideas to assess the scope of work.
Walk through your space(s) to determine functionality and lifestyle design.
Present the Design Process and set expectations.
Schedule follow up to present next steps in the design process.

Step One
You will begin by purchasing the Initial Full Service Design Consultation (on this page) to get started.
You will then refer to your secure account in MyDoma (our online platform to manage our working relationship). Within your Studio, you will have access to all of the tools necessary for your project. In the left column you will find your menu. Please APPROVE all items in your Deliverables so that we may move to the next step.
Step Two
Use the Appointment tab to view Katie's calendar and book your 120 minute appointment.
This time spent will be the first stage in developing your future Interior Design plan.
We will spend a total of 120 minutes, on-site or virtually, conducting a deep dive assessment of your project to gather information that is essential to our partnership. We will drill down to understand your goals and expectations of the process and walk away with a high level understanding of the scope for the project you are requesting.
At the close of this appointment we will begin to create your Scope of Work and move into our third step.
Step Three
The result of this Initial Full Service Design Consultation will provide a framework for our recommendation, leading to your future Interior Design Package purchase.
Upon purchase of your Design package, Katie will provide detailed information and instructions as you continue to the onboarding Process.
